Weather is what happens on a day to day basis and climate the weather pattern in which happens most often in that time of year.

It blows from Southwest to Northeast.

The winds that the European sailers use to get to South America were called the Northeasterly Trade Winds.

It affects it because when the earth is tilted, the sun’s rays hit at different angles and makes the climate change.
6. How does this relate to the Voyages of Columbus?
It relates to the Voyages of Columbus because on the way to there destination, the winds were great and they got there very fast. But on the way back, they had to go north to get to the winds heading home. The only problem was that there was no wind to giude them up to where the wanted to go.
