Summary:

The who of this article is Columbus and his other crew mates. The what is he was sailing back to Spain and getting seperated from his other boat the Nina. The where is Cuba back to Spain. The when is January 16th, 1493. The why was so Columbus could get back home to Spain and prove that we went to Asia and came back.

Response:

I feel like these events should be reconised but not as much as they are. I wish somebody would have told him he didn't really go to

Asia. My opinion is that Columbus should have known he didn't go to Asia because the natives could have told him. But he didn'tand

that just bothers me. Well a lot of things he named still aplie to me and my langage. For example Indeans that is what Columbus named

them cause he thought they were in near India. This has not impact on me but it does have inpact on the world I live in because he

discoverd a lot of different things and places.

My Thoughts:

I think that the name of Columbus day should be changed because he did discover things but he was not the only person who found things

so I think the name should be changed. The name of Columbus day shoudl be changed but I think it should be change to something like

Explorer Day or Discovery Day.
