The first day that we went to Mt. Cardigan we rode the bus there and then played games as a group. The bus ride was movement from one place to another. After the games we got our bags and started going up to our bunk rooms. We set up our rooms and made them how we wanted then we met downstairs and got in our hiking groups. After that we started to go on a hike. We went to Welton Falls and saw a river, a giant old tree, lots of cellar holes and more. While we where there Mr. Woolner told our group a story about the hemlock tree and why it has the smallest cones out of all the trees. The first day we did lots of sketches. When we got back lots of kids cleaned up then went outside to play frisbee and many other games. Then we went in to dinner and learned about ort. Dinner was spaghetti and meatballs. After we had story time then went to bed.
