Day 1 cardigan
On day 1 of being at cardigan we first got off the school bus and put down are backpacks. After that we all raced up some steps and went to a medium sized field were all the AMC guides were waiting.They sorted us into groups and taught us a game to play after a little time of playing the game they got us into a critical and told us the five essentials. After the talk the AMC Guides read off list of who was in each group each AMC guide saying who was in there goop.
When we had all been sorted into our reactive group we had lunch with our groups in the field.Then all the groops went off hiking on a nature trail ,going to a beaver lodge or welton falls and a few other places. The hikes weren’t supposed to take really long or at least not as long as the cardigan firescrew trail. It was a lot of fun doing that because welton falls was shallow and you could walking the water.When my group was heading back we caught up with another group that Mr.Woolner was in and he showed us some cool things.
After we caught up with Mr.woolners group we moved on stopping occasionally to see things we missed on the way there.After we got out of the forest we crossed a field and saw the AMC lode. When we came to the front door we all ran up the stairs dropping off our shoes up in are room which had at least one bunk bed in each.Then me and Brice went down to a room off the lobby that had chairs and board games in it.after a while in there it was time for Diner 1 goop would set and another group would clean. That night was spaghetti and a few other things and dessert was ice cream though we only got one scoop each.then we all got to bed after Mr. Woolner read us a story. That night Mr.woolner gave people a choice of swedish fish of a york then we all fell asleep.
