In Cuba Columbus discovered a bunch of new things to prove that he landed in Asia. Things That Columbus Discovered in Cuba:
1. People: Columbus brought a couple of people with him back to Europe to prove he went to Asia.
2.Yuca (sweet potatoes): Yuca was eaten by the people of Cuba and so Columbus brought Yuca back to Europe.
3. Maize (corn): Maize was eaten by the people of Cuba, so Columbus brought Maize back to Europe.
4.Tobacco: Tobacco was smoked by the people of Cuba, Columbus said it helped the lungs, I think he was wrong.
