Day 1

Day 1 of my trip to Mount Cardigan was filled with new things to learn and see. I will be focusing on the things on day 1 that had something to do with movement. First off, the bus ride their had lots and lots of movement in and on it. All of the kids shifting around, talking, and obviously the bus traveling included a lot of movement. Another part of the first day was when we all ran off the bus and immediately wanted to see our rooms. After that we ran around and played games where the whole field was full of activity. Walking through the nature trail also was a form of movement. I thought the coolest aspect of day 1 was looking at those old abandoned house cellars. To think that humans had lived their lives there is really awesome. I also like to think of if they ever thought “oh, I wonder who will be admiring at this homestead in 100 years”. Personally I would never think that about my house. The second thing I’m wondering about these old cellar holes is; what happened to the property? Most likely they were forgotten by families or maybe even could have been burnt down by a fire and never rebuilt. Even so, the homes were lived in and forgotten. The cellar holes show movement because of how humans lived there and then were gone. After this whole day of fun, I was tired from all the movement I saw and created.
