Day 3

Day 3: the day where everyone's sleepwalking because of the exhausting past two days. My group had the falls scheduled for this day, so we lazily packed up our lunches and headed out. Down the trail, I woke up a bit and noticed that their were a lot a rock walls separating one kind of forest from the other. This was probably an example of a theme of geography called regions, even though I was too asleep at the time to realize it. Further along the trail there was a section that was steep, so some people had built stairs out of rocks. Next to the trail was a river that had carved an indent in the landscape. Both of these things I saw along the trail are an example of regions. After lunch on a ledge overlooking a beautiful waterfall, my group went and explored a beach with cool fallen, trees and slippery rocks. Then we walked slowly back to the lodge, and onto the bus without much conscience. After a day full of things I didn’t notice until looking back, my whole day was filled with examples of regions. All in all, day three was a sleepy but fun day for me.
