Day 2 @ Cardigain

On day two we woke up to hot chocolate. This was the day of the hike up Mt. Cardigan. We saw many regions as we climbed up Mt. Cardigan. The first zone we entered was the northern hardwood zone. This region was beautiful. All of the leaves were bright yellow, orange, red and browns. There we stopped for many water and snack breaks. As well as, Beauty Moments. We also started with the riddles. Such as, Grandma likes Coffee not Tea. In the Northern Hardwood Zone region streams danced by. It looked like the Nature Loop we had walked the day before. At about lunch time we entered the boreal zone. The boreal zone was filled with conifers. Trail blazes were as common in the Boreal Zone as in the Northern Hardwood Zone. At about 2:00 we reached the bald summit of Firesrew. On Fireserw there was an alpine bog. It was unusally dry. We got back to the lodge at 5:15.
