On our last morning at cardigan, we were woken up to Mrs. Roberts blaring music, trying to wake us up. When we finally got up, me and my bunkmates had to clean our room and pack up. It took a while, but after it looked just like when we got there! Then, I loaded up all of my luggage into the trailer and went to breakfast. We took so long cleaning our room, there was no hot chocolate left when we got there. For breakfast, we had french toast, fruit, hash browns, and juice. After, we went up to our rooms to prepare for a short day of hiking. My group literally went everywhere that day. Day 3 was my favorite because we saw a lot of cool stuff. Like an old cellar hole, really pretty streams and rocks, forts, and old ski tow, fields, and lots of other things. My favorite part was hiking up this grassy hill, where we ate our lunch at the top. We did lots of quality sketching that day. It was very fun!
The rest of our day at cardigan was short. When we got back from hiking, the bus was there and it was time to leave. The ride home felt sooo long. I sat with Clara again because we both had a cold and could share the tissues.
The theme of geography! For day three is human- environment interaction. This includes: how we made a fort, how we found a fort, the rock wall, getting water from the stream in our boots, and the rock wall. These are all examples of the theme of geography! human - environment interaction.
