Day 3 At Cardigan

Harriet P

Blue Group

During our third day at Cardigan, many things happened that portray the theme of geography that is movement.

When we left to go back home, we brought the idea of ORT back to our families. ORT means Our Remaining Tidbits. It is the measurement of how much food we have left after we eat. Movement is the movement of people, information, ideas and products move from place to place. In this example, the idea of ORT moved.

Our entire grade also rode back to Cardigan on a bus. This was movement of people. Our hiking group leader, Rachelle, if she hadn’t been staying to work with the second Cardigan session, might have gone back to Missouri, where she is from. This is also movement of people.
