Summary:

When columbus got to the Caribbean he searched for asin gold and spice but did not find any. Then he thought he was actually in the indies by accident so he called the natives indians. While there he found out about hammocks, corn, and sadly tobacco. }:-[ . Hammocks were designed to let people not sleep on the ground. That is it for the sumery.

When he was there he found a few things. One of the things was the hammock. they are very very comfy and they were very new to the spaniards. The next was a thing that I daon't like on a personal level. It is also something that columbus thought would help with lung disease but it just makes it worse. This thing I am talking about is tobacco. He also found out about corn which they did not have at the time. Potato's were not found until later. Lastly they found People they called them "indians" they were called that because columbus thought they were in india but they were not.
