Summary: Columbus traveled far and wide to go to 'Asia" They were on there way back when they got stuck in a storm and it was a bad one. The ships got seperated and they didn't know where to go when columbus saw that on of the sails were broken. But he knew that there were some Islands near by. He headed to the Islands and asked for help. He went to their leader and asked if it was ok if they could help him return to spain. The King said yes so they got new sails and sailed home. Columbus got home and he was met with cheers and appulase and he said I have been to Asia.Then a few weeks later the captain of the other ship came back and said i have survived but nobody cared because Columbus had already come back.

I believe that Christopher Columbus's was a very self centered man. As long as he was happy that is all that matters his happiness is the most important thing to him. I do not like him at all. Because he truly does not now the importance of life.
