It was our last day at Cardigan. I woke up and packed up all of my stuff. I knew that I was going to miss this place because we were not put on the pressure of homework during those 3 days. But I packed up, got breakfast, and got ready for the day. Today we weren't going far, just little loops not far from the cabin. Our first stop was this old cellar hole that is the current remains of the Ackerman home. The cellar walls were lined in stones but it was a dirt floor and giant trees were growing inside the cellar. That was pretty cool.
Then we walked around Scott's favorite trail and came across a old dam. This was used for ships like the SS Tiny and the SS Long. Sadly though the SS Tiny was pretty careless and didn't watch where it was going and went right into a rock. We didn't see the SS Tiny again.
But then we had to climb the biggest hill ever. This was to find the old car that lifted skiers to the top of the hill. We ate lunch there and built a stick fort that was so close to being finished but we ran out of time. I question if it is still standing now. You can say all of those places are Regions. Now we must leave Cardigan. I said my goodbyes and we left. All in all I really liked the Cardigan trip and I hope that we get to go on another trip like that again.
