Day One

Day 1 Travis T Movement

So on day one I woke up ready for the day. I got up and moved my way downstairs to get breakfast. Today mom was not going to work on her usual time because she was taking me to the school by a specific time over my sister bringing me to school. When the time came we got in the car and left. When we got there, I loaded my stuff into Mr. Woolners trailer. My stuff will be in that trailer the whole time until we get to Cardigan. We waited for the bus to come and then we got on once it arrived. We drove for an hour or so then we reached our destination. We got off the bus then put our things down. Then we went to the field to have a chat with some dude after playing games and me throwing up. After that we met the instructors and learned some things about them like how some of them moved here from other places. After we were done with the instructors, we put all of our stuff in our rooms. Then went back outside to go on a little hike. We played a game with our instructor of my group then chose the leader, snack person, cheers person, map person, and lunch person. We were going on two trails, the upper trail and the lower trail. We went on the lower trail first then the upper trail with lots of sketching in between. But on the upper trail something special happened. It was the birth of our new team name, Team Charcoal. We came up with it after eating at a fire pit we found and decided to draw with charcoal on our faces. After the hike we had some down time before dinner. All I did was hang out with Ned and Smith. After that we had dinner which was spaghetti (not the best spaghetti but it was ok). Then after dinner we went to prepare for the evening activity which was a nighttime hike. In my group we went to a field and listened to the story of why pirates wear eyepatches because our eyes were adjusting to the darkness then played something about owls and stargazed. Then we got back and went to bed. It was a fun day.
