My grade went to Odiorne State Park. Well tide pooling, we saw lots of animals and plants, including crabs, seaweed, and barnalces. It was really fun to see all of the wild life. After, we got ice cream at Johnsons.

Four haikus about the inter tidal zones at Odiorne.

The first zone is black

Cyanobacteria

It covers the rocks

Second zone is white

Barnacles cover the rocks

That's why it's white zone

The third zone is brown

There is brown seaweed

It grows between rocks

Final zone is red

Red irish moss grows there, cool!

This is the lowest

WHERE is there the most variety, and WHY do you think this is?

I think that between the brown and red zone has the most variety. There are a lot of animals and plant in the brown and red zones. We saw all differnet kinds of crabs, seaweed, shells, and so many other things. There was also a good amount of water in the brown and red zones, which means that there is probably more animals and plants.
