My first day at Cardigan session two was really fun. I started my day by getting off the bus and played a short name game. After that we grabbed all of our stuff and headed to our bunk rooms to get settled in. We put on all my hiking gear and met up with our counselors. My counselor had a quick talk with our group before we headed off. After that, we started the compass course. Everyone in the group had a compass and one person had the mystery of the trees booklet. We followed the booklet instructions and made our way around, looked at and sketched trees, leaves and small plants. We saw lots of stone walls and campsites which is a good example of human environment interaction. Then we headed back for free time. I ran up the stairs and a took shower. I got dressed and went down the stairs and talked with my friends. After about an hour we ate spaghetti for dinner and got dressed into warmer colths to go outside. Eventually we made it outside and played a game called deer ears. After about thirty minutes we went back inside and got ready for bed. Then we went back down to the common area and Mr.Woolner told us some stories and then we went to bed. To summarise my first day at Cardigan MT was really fun.
