Where is Cardigan? Cardigan is a mountain located in Orange, and Alexandria, NH. The summit of Cardigan is 1.86 miles away from AMC lodge. Newfound lake is approximately 7.11 miles away from the summit of Cardigan. To the west of Newfound lake is the Cardigan Mountain State Forest. From the middle of Orange it is about 4.5 miles in a straight line to the summit of Cardigan Mountain. From the middle of Alexandria it is about 6.83 miles to the summit of Cardigan Mountain.

Cardigan has alot of nature and physical geography! Things that could be physical geography! are, trees such as, white ash, hemlock, spruce, etc. another thing that could describe Cardigan with physical geography is the mountain. Glaciers from a long time ago created most of the mountains in New Hampshire such as cardigan. If you go to the very top of the mountain you can see marks of where the glacier moved.
Cultural geography!
Physical geography is about anything that has to do with people. Some physical geography about cardigan is the erosion. While you're hiking up you can see where people have been walking and how there is like half a foot of air where dirt has been. Another example of Cardigan is the metal plate at the top of the mountain.
We were at Cardigan for about 3 days, Wednesday , Thursday , Friday
