Odiorne Point website

we went on a trip to odiorne point with the whole school. when we were at odiorne we found lots of awasome animals like crabs, crabs and some more crabs. we went there to see the animals and tidal zones, and most emportanly we got ice cream.

The black zone is the first zone and it is also the highest up. The rocks in this zone are not actaully black they are covered in cyanobacteria which covers them in black. The black zone is normaly the dryest of the 4.

The red zone is the fourth and lowest down. The red zone is also the one that is almost always wet. It also has some awsome plants that look like red seaweed but they are a differnt type of sea plant.

I think that the red zone has the most variety because we found tons of things there. some of the things we found included, Crabs, some fish, lobster, hermit crabs and the drowned forest. The red zone also has some very cool red sea weed. This is why I beleive the red zone is the best with the most variety.
