On Day 1, we did many activities throughout the day. Once we got dropped off we played some group activities while the rooms were getting cleaned. After they finished, we took an AMC survey then went upstairs to unpack. Next we split up into groups and went to Welton Falls. We took some sketches, studied the stream and admired it for the last time before heading back. As soon as we got back, we went upstairs and goofed around and played games before it was time for dinner. After the delicious dinner, we got ready for bed, heard some stories from Mr. Woolner, and got chocolates before we drifted. Even though it was the first day, it was packed with activities.

Day 1 : Human Environment interaction

The day one theme is Human Environment Interaction. This is because during day one, many things were different because we changed the world in a bad way. At Welton Falls, the water levels were lower, we could tell this because algae, seaweed and other plants and fungi littered the ground. This is an example of Human Environment Interaction on day one of Cardigan.
