Low tide is when the ocean is as far away from the dry sand and land as possible. It exposes lots of seashells, wet sand and other ocean creatures. Sometimes people get stranded by going out to rocks at low tide and getting stuck there when the tide comes in.
High tide is when the ocean gets as close to the land as possible. In comparison to low tide, it is when the least amount of sand is out of the water. During high tide, it is more difficult to find seashells and other ocean creatures because they are in the water.
I think the most veriety of things is the red zone because we found a lot of animals in the rocks and water. We found things like crabs, lobster and small fish. After we found things some of them we brought up to a fish tank to see all of the things that we found.
