Our school went to Odiorne to learn about the inter tidle zones and the sea creatures in them. We also went there to learn about what animals ther eat. Also, we went there to eat ice cream. Overall it was a very fun trip.
Rocks here are always black, picnic tables are usually here, water never comes to us.
The drowned forest is here, it is usually red down here, water is always here.
I think the Red zone has the most variety of all the zones. I beileve this because, it is almost always covered by the ocean during high or low tied which allows it to be a wonderful home for crabs, fish, sea urchins, and more. Another reason is when, it is low tide. There are usually a lot of tide pools that allows small fish, crabs, barnicles, and more to thrive. This is why i think that the red zone has the most variety of all the inter tidle zone. However, the brown zone also has a lot of life in it. This is because it is just above the red zone.
This is a picture of a Green Crab. Green Crabs are very invasive and can be found all over the coastline in New Hampshire.
This is a picture of a Barnacle. Barnacles are found all over rocks at Odiorne. They are native creature though.
