Hello I'm in seventh grade, and on May 25th 2023 I went to Odiorne with my class. Here we caught critters and looked at seaweed, as well saw old gun mantels. I held everything from crabs to seaurchins.

Intertidal Zones
Cyanobacteria
One of 4 Black zone

Red Zone
Again the zones of 4
Irish and Bubblegum Moss
4 of 4 the red zone
WHERE is there the most variety, and WHY do you think this is?
The zone with the most variety is the red zone. As I mentioned in my haiku the red zone is the last of the 4 so it is the closest to and along the bay. The red zone is where all the tide pools are. In tide pools you can find lots of small sea creatures. Such as crabs, baby lobsters, nudibranchs, sea stars, and sea urchins. The red zone also has many kinds of seaweed and moss, like Irish and Bubblegum moss. Or Knotted Wrack or Rockweed. Those are both seaweed.
