Where is Cardigan mountain?

Absolute Location

Cardigan mountain is located at 43 degrees 38 minutes and 59.26 seconds north and 71 degrees 54 seconds and 53.29 seconds with an elevation of 3127 ft.

Relative Location

Mount Cardigan is located in western New Hampshire. It is also located about 8 miles east of Orange town, and about 11 miles West of Newfound lake.

Description of Cardigan - PLACE: Special and Different

Physical Geography!...

There is a big mountain Cardigan and a little mountain Firescrew. It is a bare rock summit in the towns of Orange and Alexandria in western NH USA. It has a peak of 3,100 ft from sea level and lots of amazing views from the top.

Cultural Geography!...

There is a manmade pond and lots of hiking trails and ski trails. The hiking trails are made by humans. There are some apple trees and another man made lodge that is about 4 stories high and has a big field and pond next to it. There are a couple windmills that were visible from cardigan but they affect the environment and the apple trees are cultural and physical because they grow there and humans might have changed the type of apples on it.

We enjoyed being at Cardigan Mountain for the three days Sunday September 25, Monday September 26 and Tuesday September 27
