The First Day of The Trip I Didn't Go To.

On day one of Cardigan some people got to Cardigan and loaded their stuff off the bus, into the lodge, up the stairs, across the hall and into their rooms.
Then some people hiked around with teachers and chaperones, some saw a car, others saw sugar maples, some were at the waterfall (Wellton Falls) and the meadow.
Some ate spaghetti for lunch, and some ate delicious brownies for dessert.
Some people heard a story about hemlock.
Others saw the chicken of the woods mushroom and the lion's mane mushroom, a rusty car and a cellar hole.
Some saw a rope tow, scotch pines, pin cherries, man made pines, bridges, and wild cucumbers.
Some people went to the "are you aware" activity, and to the bunks.
Then they went to sleep awaiting the next day.
