Our fun trip to Odiorne Point!

The 7th grade all went to Odiorne Point. We looked at the drowned forest. Also we went tide pooling.

The black zone is the top section of the zones. It is called the black zone because the rocks are black. The rocks are black because they are covered in cyanobacteria.

The next zone is the white zone. The white zone is black rocks with white dots. They are black and white dots because of the cyanobacteria and barnacles.

I think that the red zone has the most variety. I think this because it is closer to the water, so there will be more creatures. Also there is seaweed and tide pools. In the tide pools you can find shells, crabs, and much more.
