My Second Hiking Trip at Cardigan Mountain!

September 28, 2022 On day two, me and all my other friends went into the forest and took measurements and temperatures of the water! pH hemlock and maple. Meanwhile on the long and heavy-walking trails, we stopped halfway to play an interesting game called, “Are you aware?” Although I wasn’t really there, I’m not 100% in how the game goes, but I think and hope that it was a fun game to play. By then, our crew saw an amazing view of a pond under the rocks! We obviously stopped to sketch them. After sketching, we continued our way on the rocky trails of the Cardigan forest, and sang a bunch of songs as well. Our team realized it was getting dark, so we had to head back. Once we did, we all had showers, got dressed, and had a good night’s rest. The next morning once we woke up, we had some more breakfast! Scrambled eggs and fried bacon. It was delicious!. After the amazing breakfast, our peers went out and played some more outdoor activity games. By then, we headed straight back to the Cardigan forest. After walking a couple miles down the rocky trails, our crew then found a frog! A tiny one. It was small, and had a pale green color. It was adorable, and someone out of our crew sketched it. Adorable! We then returned to the lodge once again, and sat in the backyard of it, and started to play an energetic game. Like tag, but with some kind of cool twist. After what happened on the second day, It sounded awesome. Sometimes I wish I was there to see it, but at least all of my other friends know what happened, and told me about it. I can’t wait for Day 3!
