My seventh grade class went to Odiorne State Park on May 25, 2023. I saw some fascinating and amazing creatures that I had never seen before. From looking under rocks to jumping from rock to rock, Odiorne was a blast!

WHERE is there the most variety, and WHY do you think this is?

I think the red zone has the most variety. This is because the Red Zone has tide pools, seaweed, and moss. Most other tidal zones don't have all of the things that the Red Zone has. In the red zone, there is an abundance of living sea creatures in the tidepools and on rocks or under rocks. For example, you can find green crabs, limpets, barnicles, and so many other creatures. However there are also things like Irish moss, rock weed, and knotted wrack. Just the red zone alone holds so many wonders.
