On day two, me and my friend got ready and headed down the stairs, where a delicious breakfast await us. For breakfast was eggs, sausage, and bacon, and as we were having breakfast Mr. Woolner was talking about what we were doing for the day. He was saying that we would hike Cardigan mountain and Firescrew. So after breakfast was done, we got ready to go on the long hike, which included making a lunch. While we were on the hike we saw different trees, plants, and tiny rivers. Also, as we were walking up the mountains, we found that there were three regions, orthern hardwood forest, boreal, and alpine zone. We sketch all of the wildlife that we saw too, and by the time we made it to the summit ( the alpine zone) everyone was hungry, so we decided to eat lunch. After lunch, we started back down the mountains. I noticed that as we went down the mountain I found that the boreal zone and northern hardwood forest had differences to them, like the trees. Also, the alpine zone is completely different from the other two zones. First, there is no tree it is a bare summit. Also somewhere on the top of the summit, there is a bog (small pond). As soon as everyone got back we had a little time before dinner so we got to play games, like football and we also got to star gaze. When dinner rolled around, me and my friends were tired and starving. Dinner was burgers and brownies, and as we were eating we were talking about how the day went. Soon after dinner was down, everyone headed outside, where Mr. Woolner told stores. Later everyone when up the stairs to bed, where we chatted with our friends and dozed off to sleep.
