My Sad but Breath Taking Third Day

Peter H.

Day three was a fun but upsetting day. Mr. Woolner woke us up and then we had to clean our bunk rooms. We stripped our bed then went down for breakfast. For breakfast we had blueberry muffins, eggs, sausage, and home fries. When we finished we went back up to our bunkrooms to finish up our cleaning. Then it was time for hiking. The hike was filled with many sites to see, like cool camsites, and river crossings. But when we arrived at Welton Falls that was the real site. It was beautiful with the falling rocks and the fallen tree just sitting right on the shore. We ate lunch and sketched all around the area. As were leaving Mr. Woolner told us a story about the hemlock tree. Then we left the magnificent place. When we got back to the lodge we did a little survey then got on the bus. The bus ride was fun but I kept thinking about how much fun I had at Cardigan. Cardigan was a great experience and I can't wait to go back.

Movement - There was a lot of movement while we were at Cardigan. On day one we first got on the bus and headed to Cardigan. We got unpacked then went hiking. We traveled around dukes campground and the nature loop. On day two we hiked up and down Cardigan. On day three we went to Welton Falls then got on the bus and headed home.
