On day two I Hiked to the top of Mt Friecrew, then from there we hiked to Cardigan. Then we headed back to the lodge. For breakfast on day two we had muffins, eggs, sausage and tater tots. Finally we started the hike with was so long, firescrew wasn’t as tall as Cardigan but it still took at least 1hr and 20 minutes to hike. At the top of Firescrew we took a sketch of a pond and the wonderful view. The elevation was almost 3000 feet! Hiking to Cardigan wasn’t too long but the way down was. Since Firescrew was right next to Cardigan the hike was only 30 minutes or shorter. My group met a different group with mr woolner and our group took a photo at the peak of Cardigan. As I said before, the way down on Cardigan felt like forever, all of our group was tired and hungry but the way down was one of my favorite parts of the whole trip because we got to go downhill most of the mountain. On our way down we found the biggest white ash tree in NH! Right after that we sketched another view on our way down. The view was still so “big” even though we were most of the way down the mountain. Once we got back to the lodge, we had burgers for dinner and it was my least favorite dinner yet even though it wasn’t bad. Then just like yesterday we didn’t go to bed till almost midnight.

On day 2 a region I found was the peak of Cardigan. Also the biggest tree in Nh on Cardigan is also a region. Regions are a place where an area where people have definable characteristics.
