Movement

Movement shows something that moves across the earth's surface. Usually has an example of a living thing that has moved. People usually drive a vehicle to go to Cardigan Mountain. Once they arrive, they continue to move by hiking up Mount Cardigan, then back down again. People move across the earth by car, airborne vehicles, biking, or sometimes just by walking or running to get to different places across the surface of the world sometimes for fun or for something important such as a job, a wedding, or a funeral. People go other AMC lodges on mountains to park their vehicles and continue to climb up other mountains which is also an example of movement.

Second Day

Day two of the Cardigan trip was the day that we hiked to the summit of the over 3,000 footer. The first thing I did that morning was get up, get dressed, and go downstairs for breakfast. After a while of waiting around for everyone else to get ready, we met in our hiking groups. After a few reminders about the rules, and a few very brief activities, we were off on our journey up to the the summit. We hiked awhile before stopping to sketch a fallen tree and something else of your own choice. In the beginning of the hike, I ate a whole sandwich bag of trail mix before we continued hiking. I must've been starving on the way up to the summit. We continued hiking up a trail called firescrew. It took our group hours before stopping at the top of firescrew. We enjoyed the view before continuing up the last stretch of the mountain. Finally, we made it to the summit. On the top we sketched the fire tower, did a group photo and hiked back down the cabin. Eventually, we made it back to the cabin. Next, we got our hour of free time, then we ate dinner, showered, and headed off to sleep.
