Relative Location Relative Location Cardigan Lodge is about 7 miles west from Newfound Lake, and it is also about 7 miles northwest from Bristol. Cardigan Mountain is also located about 6 miles northwest from Alexandria, finally the location of Cardigan is about 30 miles northwest from Hopkinton.

Physical description… When we were at Mount Cardigan there were many examples of Physical description. Some of the examples of physical description at Cardigan are, the mountain, Welton Falls, Dukes Meadow, etc.
Cultural description… While we were at Cardigan I noticed a couple of examples of cultural geography. Some of the examples of cultural description that were at Cardigan were, the AMC lodge, the windmills, the rope tow at the top of the skiing hill, the old car, the meals we had, the water bars, etc.
We really enjoyed being at Cardigan for the three days we were there, Wednesday, the day we went to welton falls,Thursday, the day we hiked Mount Cardigan,and Friday, the day we did the compass course.
