Day 3 at Mt. Cardigan

My bunk room accidentally slept in. Today was the day we were leaving Mt. Cardigan. We rush to get our stuff packed and ran down stairs and we had hot chocolate. When it was time for breakfast we all sat down and had french toast. Then we made sandwiches and went outside and met in our groups.

We played some games and went on the nature trail. Our group stopped at the stream and stream studies. We tested the pH and looked and caught little water bugs, newts and salamanders. We had lunch there and then sketched trees. We had lunch and it was very windy. Someone bag for their launch had blown away and they had to go get it because we didn't want to add any trash to the environment. This was Human environment interaction. Then our group leader said we could explore the area. We found more newts and salamanders. We found frog eggs and plants in the water. Our group leader said that some of the animals are very common around here. When it was time to get back to the lodge we walked back.

When we got back we waited for the school bus. When the school bus came we got on the bus and started our journey home it was a long bus ride. Then we got back to school our parents picked us up and we went home.
