On Mt. Cardigan there is an amc lodge on the base of the mountain where people work and visit. The food that they serve there is American food that we make (like spaghetti and sloppy joes). Any of the food leftovers goes to a pig farm down the road from the lodge. Also on the summit of Cardigan it is bare rock because of humans. Also there are karens there that help guide the people on the trails. Karens are rocks balanced on top of each other. These are placed near each other to show where the other side of the trail is.
Mt. Cardigan has lots of wildlife on it. Like bears, owls, other birds, salamanders, deer, and much more. Mt. Cardigan also has streams that have lots of insects, fish and many different kinds of amphibians. Also on the top of the mountain is bare rock. There are so many kinds of trees and they all have their different sections of the mountain. On the base of the mountain has lots of borrial trees, the middle of the base and summit there are borrial and evergreen trees. And at the summit there isn’t very many trees, if you were to see trees it would be evergreen trees.
