My Trip to a Mountain Called Cardigan

Location

Relative Location: Mount Cardigan is West of Newfound lake. Newfound lake, by the way is not newly discovered desbite its name. Cardigan is also North of Route 4, and South of Lisbon, NH. Lastly it is East of Lebanon. Absolute Location: The precise location of Mt. Cardigan's summit is N 43 degrees 38 minutes 58.4 seconds and W 071 degrees 54 minutes 50.8 seconds. Lastly the elevation is 3156 feet.

Place

Physical: Mt. Cardigan has lots of trees, rocks, different plants, and other unique elements. In the fall the leaves turn all different shades of red, yellow, and orange, giving the summit a view to look forward to! If you stay quiet on the trails you will also likely run into lots of different animals. Lastly you can hike on a trail that leads you to a multiple huge and magnificent waterfalls!

Cultural: Before you even start hiking, there is a beautiful lodge at the base of the mountain. The lodge has lots cozy bunk rooms and living areas. If you decide to stay, there are also delicious meals served. Lastly you can hike to a cellar hole where there used to be a house that someone lived in at one point.

Lastly, we were at Cardigan Mountain for three days, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
