Where is Cardigan?
Relative Location
Cardigan Mountain is north-northwest of Hopkinton and about 30 to 40 miles away. It takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to get from Hopkinton to Cardigan. Mount Cardigan is in the north-east part of the US near Orange Town, NH. Also the summit of Cardigan is west of the AMC Lodge. The distance from the AMC Lodge to the summit of Cardigan is about 2 to 2.25 miles not on the trails. The pond near the AMC lodge is about 330ft from the lodge. The mountain is about 6 miles east from Newfound Lake.

Physical Description
To start off the summit of Mount Cardigan is bare rock, with no trees. As you work your way down the mountain tree like maple, beech, spruces, and ash start to apare. In addition to the trees there are small rivers that run down the mountain. There were also animals like birds, squarals, chipmunks and more. This is the physical description of Cardigan Mountian.
Cultural Description
First there is a lodge at the bottom of the Mountain where everyone slept and lived for the three days that we were there. There were also rock carvings with people's names at the summit of Cardigan. There was also a ski lift and an old car that were near the mountain. This is the cultural description of Cardigan Mountian.
We are at Cardigan Mountain for three days, Sunday/Wednesday, Monday/Thursday, Tuesday/Friday.
